Musician Jazim Sharma is known for a matla he often sings in his baithaks and which are particularly loved by his admirers. It is composed by Farhat Shahzad Sahab and composed by Anuraj (Anurag Sharma - Raj Kapoor).

Misraa was born from poetry. Long before it became a clothing label, it existed in the verses of its founder, Pranav Kirti Misra. One of his most famous poems is मैं इंतज़ार करूँगा - a poem written from the perspective of a lover, a meditation on life, love, longing and death.
The poem now takes on a new life as Misraa's first-ever ghazal, composed by the renowned musician Jazim Sharma in collaboration with Pranav Kirti Misra.

In the year 2018, musician Jazim Sharma sung the song ‘Chonch Ladhiyaan’ for the film Manmarziyaan, directed by Anurag Kashyap and starring Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal & Abhishek Bachchan. The song was written by Shellee and composed by Amit Trivedi.
Sharma sings the song again for Misraa- this time, as a ghazal.

Indian Supermodel Sony Kaur, who has grown up in Hyderabad and now lives in Goa, originally belongs to a Sikh Punjabi family. Despite being multi-lingual, Kaur chose to go with the language that sounds the most familiar to her ear: Punjabi.
